What the trip is

Not a tourist trip, but a structured international experience. In one week students see how a small country became a global centre of science, diplomacy and precision, stand on a mountain above the clouds, and visit the institutions where the world meets.

The educational side

The programme includes visits to schools, universities and educational institutes in Switzerland, from a university campus in Zurich to CERN and the United Nations in Geneva.

The programme

  • Switzerland's past

Zurich's Old Town, the Swiss National Museum, Lucerne's Chapel Bridge and the story of a nation with four languages.

  • Switzerland's present

Trains that run to the minute, chocolate and cheese, Lake Geneva and the everyday life of a multilingual country.

  • Switzerland's future

CERN, the United Nations in Geneva, a university visit and an innovation workshop with a Swiss partner.

  • Pure fun

A mountain day with a cable car and snow at the top, a boat on the lake, and a farewell dinner with awards and certificates.
