What the trip is
Not a tourist trip, but a structured international experience. In one week students walk through 1,500 years of Byzantine and Ottoman history, cross between two continents by ferry, and live Turkish culture the way locals do.
The educational side
Alongside the history and culture, the programme includes visits to schools, universities and educational institutes in Turkey, arranged for each group.
The programme
History and heritage
Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace and the Basilica Cistern. Then Bursa, the first Ottoman capital.
Culture and cuisine
Grand Bazaar bargaining, İskender kebab in its home city, ferries to the Asian side and local neighbourhoods.
Independence and leadership
Structured free time in buddy groups of 3 to 5, daily briefings, evening reflections, budgeting and navigation challenges.
Pure fun
A full theme park day, a sunset Bosphorus cruise, the Uludağ cable car and mountain snow.

- Every member of staff holds a police clearance certificate and first aid training.
- Small supervised groups, with clear meeting points and return times.
- Insurance for every student, and a 24/7 emergency protocol.
Communication
- A parent meeting before every camp.
- Daily updates during the trip, to parents or to the school.
- Instructors can be reached 24 hours a day.
- An individual progress report after our camps, with a parent call to walk through it.
