What the trip is
Not a tourist trip, but a structured international experience. In one week students walk through a thousand years of history, live inside a fascinating modern culture, and see the technology shaping its future.
The educational side
The programme includes visits to schools, universities and educational institutes in Japan, and an educational exchange with a Japanese partner.

Japan's past
Senso-ji Temple and old Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, Osaka Castle and samurai history, and a traditional cultural workshop.
Japan's present
Shibuya Crossing, Harajuku, Akihabara and Dotonbori. Food, trains, etiquette and youth culture.
Japan's future
teamLab Borderless, Tokyo Skytree, the Shinkansen, and an educational exchange or innovation visit with a Japanese partner.
Pure fun
A full day at Universal Studios Japan with Super Nintendo World, arcades, street food and winter illuminations.

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo
Airport pickup, orientation, first Japanese dinner and culture briefing
Day 2: Old and new Tokyo
Senso-ji Temple and Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree, evening in Akihabara

- Every member of staff holds a police clearance certificate and first aid training.
- Small supervised groups, with clear meeting points and return times.
- Insurance for every student, and a 24/7 emergency protocol.
Communication
- A parent meeting before every camp.
- Daily updates during the trip, to parents or to the school.
- Instructors can be reached 24 hours a day.
- An individual progress report after our camps, with a parent call to walk through it.
